I've been creating a series of core articles, capable of great expansion, on basic tools and fasteners.  Even if you don't have a favorite specialized tool of your own, certainly every engineering discipline has its particular wrenches and drills that could be added to main articles or become subarticles. Note that there are also classes such as cutting equipment, bonding techniques, and construction equipment.

Some seemingly simple tools, such as pliers or hammers, are surprisingly hard to describe in a general way.

Have fun!

Prime Minister, you can't take the bull by the horns if you're grasping the nettle. Perhaps it is only electrical engineering, but there is a tale of the stockholders' meeting of one utility suddenly going black. In the embarrassed silence, the CEO called out strongly, "Everyone raise your hands!"

And there was light, and it was good.

When asked why he asked for the action, he cited an ancient proverb, "Many hands make light work."
