(I sent this to the workgroup mailing list, but am posting it here as well to get the widest possible interest)

Hi all,

Work is underway on the main entry for Literature, and I'd like to
invite everyone who receives this to have a look and make any and all
improvements that they can.  The beginning of the entry is already
growing stronger -- right now, the end of the entry seems the weakest
part: it just trails off, and the bibliography is very small.  I was
thinking, perhaps, of a "Further Study" section, which would then flow
well into a bibliography ....

But the main reason I'm posting to the list is to see if we can't get
working on a fully Approved entry.  I'm in an odd position, because
with most of our Developed articles, I'm the principal author and
can't have an active role in the Approval process.  So, if others  in
the workgroup would take a look, I think we could very well have a
near-ready article in there.  In addition to the toplevel entry, have
a look at the entries for The Frozen Deep, Bonnie Hicks, William
Shakespeare, and Geoffrey Chaucer -- all of these have had some
considerable attention, and all are near enough to approved-status
quality that a modicum of collective work could make them ready.

Also: some basic maintenance is needed.  I've been piping all our
tagged entries so that they appear on our page in proper ABC order,
but already we have some editorial questions (Chaucer under C, but
Geoffrey of Monmouth under G or M?).  We can use the talk page on the
Workgroup to hash out these sorts of things.

best to all, and hope to see more names active soon!
