Dear everybody-out-there,
our main article is a red link. One of the few left.

The reason is that there are few active authors in this workgroup, and few active editors as well.
More precisely, I appear to be the more active of the workgroup, which is BAD (because I admit I'm not so active after all!!!)

Now, is there anyone who would like to contribute to any of the Earth Science arguments? Best of all, as a part of the main article? Be bold! Do it! I promise I would join your effort as soon as you start or get in contact. Whether you are in this workgroup or not (yet).

I am strongly convinced that big articles need to be wrote by a team. Let's create the team! Just start, even if you are not an expert; we'll deal later with quality issues.

Update:
The Earth Sciences article was started. Take a look: there is already a lot of material in it.
Maybe we can discuss what should be its scope in this forum - or just drop this thread and use the discussion page...

I have posted a suggestion of contributing to Citizendium in a most-read blog of Earth scientists (http://www.realclimate.org/), let's see what happens.
I am not sure recruitment letters are the right way to do it. This is not the usual way scientists communicate, at least in my experience. If I was to receive a recruitment letter, it would sound suspect to me (why? Don't ask, I don't know. Subtle psychologic effect, I suppose).

Anyway, the first contributors to Earth Science arrived already, and they seem to be active! This is good news. Now we need EDITORS, and many of them: Earth Science is multidisciplinary, and geology editors may know almost nothing about oceanography or atmospheric science. This is, indeed, the case right now (I am talking for myself of course!)
