Do we have a logo or any suggested images yet? I've got MediaWiki up and running but it needs a pretty logo for the upper left corner...

I have a master graphic artist/photoshop person in my pocket should we wish to use his services for free.
He has produced some stunning signature images for an online gaming forum I frequent....he'd be stoked to have a crack at something like this.

Let me see if Andre has something worked up. If not, I say we open it up.

I'd suggest opening up the call for logos to any designer who's interested. In fact, make a competition out of it. This would give people outside of the pilot project a way to be involved and would bring more attention to Citizendium. All one would have to do is put a notice up on a few sites frequented by graphic designers and they'd quickly pass the word.

I'd say the logo thing is best done later, maybe for public launch, as long as Andre comes up with something suitable for now. It's not something that I think is worth the trouble dealing with; we've got much higher priorities!

It is. Deadline is Jan. 2nd. Actually, I have a feeling we won't be voting until a few days after the deadline.

I like the logo that is used now. Won´t it be a candidate?

Hello, Larry, all.
Happy new year !
The due date for logo submissions was Jan, 2nd. How and when are we going to vote on the logo ?

Voting is going on right now on the Executive Committee. If you have any comments on the logos, this would be the time to make them. I think in any case that we're going to make a good choice. Folks have homed in on some of the best (I'd say).

Love the new logo. The tie in with the citi and the skyline is cool. The key to knowledge, even better. Great job.
