When the Indonesian version of Citizendium (and notice I said "when", not "if", because I believe this is just a matter of time Wink ), I suggest that we don't use a bot to copy articles from Indonesian Wikipedia, but rather start afresh with a blank page. The id.WP is riddled with too many stubs, copyvio, and junk articles. If, in the process of writing articles for id.CZ, people copy whole articles from id.WP, then at least we will have some control as to which articles are worthy and which are not. With bot, there is no control.

Other than that, of course we could always translate from en.CZ. I know right now might not be the best time to start thinking about id.CZ, as en.CZ is still in its pilot phase, but early planning can't hurt Smiley

I think that Citizendium in many languages should not to be a fork of Wikipedia of this language but a new one encyclopedia independent of WP, but must have en CZ as reference to start.

Agreed 100%. But in the implementation, it is quite inevitable that people copy articles from id.WP to id.CZ, even if we clearly states that it's not preferred. If all id.CZ admins should check every single new article and compare it to id.WP (and other sources) that would be highly impractical.

The most difficult problem for id.CZ will be finding people who are experts in their field and are willing to be id.CZ editors and authors. Without experts, CZ could not work.
