Is it possible to create image galleries for the visual arts articles? It would be a big help if I could do that.

Sure, why not?  I forget how to do it, but I *did* do some galleries for some of my food articles as I recall.  I think that I just found a gallery that someone else had created, copied it into the article that I was writing, then changed the old images for new ones.  Here's one I did for Bread: http://en.citizendium.org/wiki/Bread/Gallery  For all I know, there may be easier ways to do it.

I just wanted to make sure there is no objection before spending time on it. My recollection is that there was some controversy about galleries on WP, and there was an administrator who was busy deleting all of them he could find.

No, I think that we actually *encourage* them!  I wonder why the WP oddballs would object to them?

The easyiest way (not neccessarily the prettiest way) would be to use
