I started some engineering core articles, such as drill and saw, starting with disambiguation. Nail and screw followed.

Is, however, a core drill a core article, or a subtopic?

I have some utterly irrelevant expertise in this matter. At one point during my software career, my job title was "Core Testing Manager." More than once, when I gave somebody my business card, I was asked why we were still using that ancient storage technology, or whether my eyesight was harmed by inspecting tiny metal circles all day.
