NEEDED: Access to comprehensive image gallery

Hi Folks,

Constables are wondering if anyone can establish a ready link to the image collection rather than sifting through each article. The current link I have was through a search that provides a non-alphabetised listing with thumbnails. It took me some time to get there. The reasons for a quick access with alpha is that anyone looking for an appropriate image/graphic would not need to duplicate their efforts if we already have one that works. Another reason is that it would allow the constables and editors a quick means of auditing the authorisation process and look for any images/graphics that have not been properly authorised for use here. So, an actual gallery of all the images and graphics in use at CZ would be very helpful. Anyone with the expertise to do so would be doing us all a big favour. Thanks. Thomas Simmons, CZ Constable

Thomas, if it is of any use, I have two galleries of images that I have uploaded and used in articles that I have written. One gallery has 80 images and the other has 60 images. They can be viewed at:

I found that creating my own galleries was the only way to easily re-locate them when I had a need to do so. I agree with you that we need someone who can organize all of the images on CZ. Alphabetizing would help a bit ... but much better would be to categorize them (i.e., physics, engineering, politics, history, biographies, sports, medical, art,  books, etc., etc.). Wikimedia Commons could serve as a guide.

The longer we wait, the more difficult it will be to organize them.
