Author Topic: Old images "lost" when new approvals don't include them  (Read 2494 times)

I've noticed in old editions of [[ Life ]] and the current edition of [[ Butler ]] there are images that are not found in the current edition or draft.

I think there should be a policy change so that if you are going to remove an image in a new version, that image should be saved somewhere for easy finding later.

The gallery subpage is for images correct?

Images removed from new editions could be stored in a special subsection in the gallery called:

"images from previous approved editions or drafts" or something like that.

I just like images and it is shame for future readers not to see the now removed picture of the "evolutionist" in the old edition of [[ life ]].

Does anyone else support this idea?

Should it be a proposal to the editorial council?

Anyone have time to "run" the proposal?

Tom, I see that you are *still* not correctly identifying yourself at the bottom of the page, as per CZ regulations.

Are you doing this on purpose, simply because people are asking you, politely as far as I know, but you don't want to?

This is absolutely the last time that I will bring this matter to your attention. Regulations are regulations and I don't see why you are the only person in CZ who can ignore them. If you don't comply with them, I will bring a formal complaint to the attention of the Constables.

Sorry to be grouchy, but you can correct this matter so easily if you want to!

I'm not sure we need a proposal as such here.  Can't we just update the CZ:Gallery page just start doing this as a standard practise?
