Is it possible to add a few more people to have access to some of the more intricate parts of the site?  There's lots of a potential for development, but it doesn't seem like there's much available manpower available and I certainly know that there are more than a few willing parties who have both time, aptitude, and motivation.

All current posts beyond May 8th are typed in short form (mistakes) or with my good hand (sans mistakes).

Jeepers!  Who *are* all these superhuman folks??  Add them, add them!

If it's a security issue, maybe require more personal/verifiable info from them?  Don't publish it, of course, the rest of us don't 'need to know'.

Churchill:  Madam, if I were your husband, I'd drink it!

Does anyone know what the process is to do this? Is this something Larry has to do/authorize, or what?

Who currently has access to MediaWiki, anyway? I see from an earlier thread that Stephen Ewen does (I think? - he set a config flag), and I guess Zach Pruckowski and Jason Potkanski do, as does Greg Mullane,  but none of those three seem to have been active recently. Aaron Schulz knows about PHP, but he says he doesn't have access.

What status do you require to be able to access mediawiki? If Aaron does not have access then beureaucrat is not enough. The current bureaucrats are:

Aaron Schulz (Bureaucrat, Sysop); Bernard Haisch (Bureaucrat, Sysop, editor); Greg Sabino Mullane (Bureaucrat, Dark Knight, Sysop, editor); Jason Potkanski (Bureaucrat, Dark Knight, Sysop); Larry Sanger (Bureaucrat, Dark Knight, Sysop); Peter Hitchmough (Bureaucrat, Sysop, editor); Ruth Ifcher (Bureaucrat, Dark Knight, Sysop).

Neither Stephen Ewen or Zach Pruckowski are in that group although Stephen has a unique status of "Linnaeus". Not sure what dark night is but I guess that is to do with the server.
