Currently popovers will not work if you use Internet Explorer. We need the query.php extention installed. Techies you can get it here http://svn.wikimedia.org/viewvc/mediawiki/trunk/extensions/BotQuery/query.php?revision=23533&view=markup
There's no editing involved just upload the 3 files to the folder wikiroot/extentions/BotQuery/ and put a simlink in like:
[wikiroot]bash#> ln -s extensions/BotQuery/query.php ./query.php

Once query.php extention is installed, the popups will work properly as can be seen in my test wiki http://www.dnselite.com/w/index.php/Biology (registration required to view the effect).

Thanks, Derek.  Unfortunately, I cannot follow the algorithm you give, as more knowledge required than I have.  Can the you, or a delegate, do the fix for me?  if not can you rewrite the algorithm as for a five-year-old.

Thanks.

It's not something you or I can fix Anthony. We have to wait for the technical staff at Citizendium installing this extension into the site. I've already asked them twice but as yet no response.

Are others having trouble with the pop-ups?  They quit working properly for me during the maintenance period and continue to tell me that every page is blank.

Has anybody done any work on it? Today I tried to install popups and I noticed the same problem. It looks like the popups use the wrong URL.

I think I've mentioned that popups stopped working for me on another thread.

They've not been working (for me) since the new skin, Jitse.  I didn't realise I had to reinstall.
