There are a lot of out of date help pages, both on the wiki (e.g. [[CZ:Project home]]) and on the webserver (e.g. http://www.citizendium.org/cfa.html). Many of these are listed in http://en.citizendium.org/wiki/CZ:Archived_Pages, but I bet some are not.

Unfortunately, there are a lot of links left to these out of date pages, potentially confusing newbies. For example, I just fixed a link to http://www.citizendium.org/cfa.html on the history workgroup and fixed links to [[CZ:Policy Outline]] on various pages.

Maybe we could try:
* Delete all out of date non-wiki pages, such as http://www.citizendium.org/cfa.html . If they are desired for historical purposes, they should at least be labeled as such.
* Create an initiative to:
**Systematically look at each article in CZ namespace, looking for rarely updated ones that may need archiving
**Determine which non-archived pages link to archived ones and fix them. This could either be done by hand using "what links here", or semi-automatically.

Something along those lines seems sensible.

Warren, I think I see a New Proposal in your future.  Wink

There's a way in MediaWiki to list all the pages in a namespace, but I've forgotten what it is. Does anyone know/remember the spell for that?

On any Citizendium page, click on "Special pages" in the "toolbox" section in the left column. Then, click on "All pages". Then, select the namespace and click "Go".

The URL http://en.citizendium.org/wiki?title=Special%3AAllpages&from=&namespace=100 lists all pages in the CZ namespace.
