Extra headers on the talk page

I gather Larry asked for the headers on the talk page to show up (by default) in expanded form. I find this kind of clunky - the 'hide' button is basically useless, because I'm not going to bother hiding this stuff every time I go to a talk page.

Can we at least have the "unused subpages" hidden by default? I imagine someone clicks on something there about once in every 10,000 talk page views.

"Headers" = "all subpage tabs in a cluster?"

I dunno--only the default ones used to show up--you had to "show" the others.

Is this maybe so that people see all the subpage types available and maybe that'll encourage more of us to use 'em?
