I've only read this through quickly, so I probably just don't understand.  But there is a place for different enthusiasts to sign their name: you simply add [[Category:_______ Authors]] to your user page.  No?

Denis clarified what I was getting at earlier--thanks, Denis.

[[Category:_______ Authors]] is a start, but within each category there are lots of subdisciplines. Rather than continue to break down workgroups into more sub-workgroups, we could have a simple wiki page where people can list what subdiscipline they mainly focus on.

So, if an author is working on an article and wants some input/feedback from another enthusiast/expert on a subdiscipline, they can click over to that page and find someone with that specific interest. I'm looking at this from a more proactive 'authors actively collaborating with authors' stance than just initiating articles or editing existing ones--if authors want a hand with a specialist sub-topic they know there is a place where they can find another enthusiast to ask.

I'll work with an example and hopefully put it up shortly.

The problem here is that highly qualified authors may get overloaded. A solution used in many large companies is to allow a search of a competence database, which yields an anonymous email notification to the expert. That person can then reply if time and interest permit.

Hello David,

Would you be so kind as to add a link to your CZ userpage in your signature?

Thank you.

Maybe en.Citizendium should now bud non-English Citizendiums?

My class' mailing list has received an e-mail from a lecturer providing a list of unwritten articles on he.wikipedia. He said that for each article created he'll add a point to the final score of the course. (I've already taken that course, so I won't get any points...)

I've sent him a letter about Citizendium and he invited me to discuss it with him.
