I was actually attempting to make a joke by implying surprise by the fact that this was a more-or-less a volunteer effort; faux-shock, if you will--but it did not receive the response I expected and now I am in an awkward position.  Hmm.

No problemo, I just felt inspired to give more info.

I once worked for Wikipedia until they banned me for no reason. It was such a big relief. My take is that it is composed of fourteen year olds and grad students with free time. I had already joined CZ, so with Glee I came here only to be arrested and put into solitary confinement.

BUT they were right, and I was wrong. And in that case I am thankful.

So I do not mind whatsoever the constraints. Because I have this feeling that they are grounded in wisdom. And that is the difference I think between Wikipedia and CZ - wisdom.

So, I propose a change in our mission. Instead of trying to become a great encyclopedia, I doubt that we will ever beat out Wikipedia, there are too many kids using it, I propose that CZ become the greatest compendium.

In short, instead of deleting information, sweep in information. Become a research source, instead of a few "popular" books, list all the booksm, preferably annotated and organized appropriately.

This can be easily done using a four step program. Term/definition/explanation/research paper.

This way the kids will have their term and definition, others will have the explanations and still others will have the research.

There are not many organizations that make it their job to write about other organizations.

So in a sense we would be the first and the first of anything is always great.
